Fantasy

This branch of imaginative literature draws on mythology rather than technology. Fantasy most often takes place in a world totally different from our own, though it occasionally concerns our own present or past. My mother introduced me to this engrossing genre by reading me The Hobbit when I was four years old. One of my first story sales was "The Travelers' Tree" to the Webzine E-scape, a story set in my main fantasy world, Hallelaine; much of my poetry also comes from this setting.
